Carnesky Productions is a not-for-profit company, which doesn’t receive regular funding. Led by Marisa Carnesky, for thirty years we have been at the cutting edge of interdisciplinary arts practice delivering iconic projects like Carnesky’s Ghost Train and Dr Carnesky’s Incredible Bleeding Woman. We depend on the generosity of our supporters to keep the company alive and kicking against the patriarchy through our exciting and groundbreaking projects.
For the last twenty years, we have been supporting emerging artists of all ages and backgrounds to be creative and get excited by the possibilities of performance art, cabaret, theatre and dance in our projects and workshops.
These initiatives have nurtured some of the most exciting artists working in the UK right now including: Paloma Faith, Tai Shani, Fancy Chance, Oozing Gloop, Empress Stah, Talulah Haddon, Missa Blue, Harry Clayton Wright, Oberon White and Claudia Palazzo.
Year round we offer courses (Carnesky’s Radical Cabaret School), one-to-one mentoring, commission new work from our network of associate artists and employ exciting artists in our touring productions.
In challenging times for the cultural sector we’d love you to help us keep employing and helping develop the cutting edge artists of the future.
