Artists and crew from a variety of disciplines came together for this unique collaborative project. Marisa led designers, producers, performers and costume makers through psycho-magic and tarot workshops to instil the spirit of Carnesky’s Tarot Drome.

Rasp Thorne

Composer of original score

Rasp Thorne is a performer, musician and writer hailing originally from Montana. After having spent much time travelling and living in New York, New Orleans and Germany he has set his roots down in London where he is associate artist and musical director of Carnesky Productions.

H Plewis


After completing a degree in dance H Plewis formed the collective Zephyr in Zanussi, creating work characterised by a playful approach to contemporary dance language, synchronized with elements of theatre and comedy. Receiving a number of Arts Council England grants, the company toured nationally. Since 2006 H has been choreographing her own solo work and worked extensively with Duckie on the hit show The Readers Wifes Fan Club. Her style has been called unconventional and wild, meshing post modern dance with populist forms. She has been a member of Carnesky Productions since 2008.

Lara Clifton


Lara Clifton has over ten years’ experience as a producer and event manager in live art and performance. As the co‐founder of Whoopee she created theatrical, avant‐garde club nights that ‘redefined the cabaret and party scene in London’ (Time Out, 2009). She has worked with a variety of venues including: the V&A, the Barbican, Hackney Empire, Porchester Baths and Blackpool Tower Ballroom. Lara came on board as producer at Carnesky Productions in 2011.

Dicky Eton

Associate producer

Since 2003 Dicky Eton has been the co-producer at London performance outfit Duckie, producing shows and events that mix performance art, cabaret, nightclubbing and experimental theatre at a range of venues including the Barbican, Southbank Centre and Royal Vauxhall Tavern. On the side, he is an associate producer with Carnesky Productions and an associate artist with Blast Theory.

James Elphick

Production manager and stage manager

James Elphick is creative director and curator of arts organisation Guerrilla Zoo. The events he produces are highly unique and offer one-off audience experiences, often combining multi-media sensory elements. His speciality is creating totally new worlds and environments that encompass art, music, performance, installations, interactions, theatre & visuals, designed to completely immerse audiences. Elphick has worked with highly prestigious artists as well as pioneering and supporting new talent from around the world, providing an unrivalled platform for new opportunities.

Natacha Poledica

Assistant producer

Natacha has been involved with Carnesky Productions since 2005. First as company stage manager, now assistant producer, she keeps the troops spirits high and the shows on track. She has 10 year of experience managing live art and multi-media performance events for the like of Whoopee, Duckie, LIFT, SPILL, Tai Shani and many more.

Claire Ashley

Costume designer and maker

Claire Ashley is a Hackney-based costumier, designing and making theatrical costumes for performers for 15 years. Specialising in metamorphic costumes, vintage and circus, Claire has been commissioned to create a multitude of unique visions.

Natasha Lawes

Tech-effect costume and headdress designer and maker

Natasha Lawes is a London-based designer who uses a variety of media including sculpture, tech-effect costume, make-up and hair artistry. Natasha has worked for performers such as Kylie Minogue, Lady Gaga, Bat For Lashes and Ladyhawke.

Martha Copeland and Bear Gateaux

Fairground items and facade

Bear Gateaux is a creative collective of two life-long friends, Martha and Keiran. They make things, build things, paint things and sometimes even perform.

Rebecca Stevenson


Rebecca Stevenson is an internationally recognised artist, best known for her wax and resin sculptures that combine baroque detail with a heady sense of the visceral.

Louise Riley

Embroidery and set design

London artist Louise Riley works with thread. Known for her embroidered figures on mattresses, the work in this show has a live muse and through translucent glaze scenes collaborate seamlessly with the performer.
